What we collect about you

What we deliberately do not do

Email consent

Marketing email requires double opt-in: we send one confirmation message and send nothing further until you confirm. Every marketing message carries a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing is permanent and global — a suppressed address is not re-added, and suppression is checked immediately before every send, including transactional ones.

Retention and deletion

Consent records are kept while you are subscribed and afterwards only as needed to prove that consent existed and to honour suppression. Suppression entries are kept indefinitely on purpose: forgetting that you unsubscribed would let us contact you again. Usage events are kept for analysis of the funnel and are not tied to your identity.

To request access or deletion of your personal data, write to legal@publicrecordsignal.com.

Personal data inside the public records

Some official sources name individuals, not only companies. Enforcement records include sole proprietors and named respondents; adviser filings include control persons and contacts. The following sources we use contain such names:

We republish those names only as the source published them, as part of the record they belong to. We do not enrich them, combine them into profiles of individuals, or infer anything about a person. If you believe a record about you is wrong, the correction has to come from the agency that published it — we cannot alter a source record, and a signal derived from one is regenerated from the source rather than edited.
